Pros
I didn't get made redundant when Nasstar purchased KCOM National Business. Everything else was awful though.
Cons
I was part of a TUPE transfer to Nasstar when they bought KCOM National Business. Lots of talk, lots of logos, no ability to absorb a business this size and certainly no care for staff. Horrendous management, cluelessness above and beyond what we were used to, and the overall feeling of immense disappointment that not only was this not going to be an improvement, it was actually significantly worse. Mass exodus of staff. The best thing I ever did was leave. It's a toxic combination of indifference/hostility to staff and lack of any sort of organisation or clue. Special mention for the consultant who was also atrocious. The line manager I reported into is a case study in ineptitude, indifference, narcissism and spite. A really talentless fraud who appeared to enjoy patronising those beneath him in order to elevate himself. Has isolated every single one of the staff that he acquired which is a feat in itself - they are all incredibly miserable and also looking for the exit. I count my lucky stars every day that I got out and now enjoy work.
