Toxic environment - Anonymous employee National Beef Employee Review

The supervisors treat the employees like dogs! I have even heard them joke about how they treat the employees. They do not value the work the employees do. The plant is extremely dirty with a lack of concern for food safety. QA will allow product to be shipped out for certain supervisors because of who they are. We were extremely short staffed which created bad hires because they would rehire employees that did not need to work back at the plant. If you can fog a mirror you can get hired. The shortage also caused us to work harder and the supervisors to push us further, so we could fill the numbers.
