Terrible - Dispatcher National DCP Employee Review

Pros

Pay and benefits are the only pros for that place. This place is overall a terrible place

Cons

They make the dispatchers do everything and when I say everything I mean everything. They do the customer service job and contact the customers, the yard jockey job and do fuel checks every 2 hrs, the drivers jobs they do a post trip on the tractor and trailer everytime a driver arrives, type up send out delays and confirm drivers yes this is calling everyday and then wake them up for their shift 30mins early with a call. This is not even the beginning. I quit asap oh and one of the dispatchers was doing like a payroll type thing too.

Stressful situations with customers, and sometimes can be hard to understand what the customer needs.

Thank you for your review. I apologize that your experience with NDCP was not pleasant. NDCP has a strong culture of accountability. Our managers are trained and evaluated on managing operations and compliance. We also have several avenues for employees to bring their concerns to management. I hope that you were able to address your concerns prior to your departure.
