Pros

Great Place to Work: This company is a gem in Vermont. It's not just a job; it's a fantastic place to build a career. The work culture here is one of collaboration, support, and growth. Compensation Package and Benefits: The compensation package and benefits offered are well above industry standards. I haven't found another place in Vermont where I could earn this much while enjoying such an incredible range of perks. Wellness Benefits: The company goes above and beyond when it comes to wellness benefits. The free gym membership, weekly access to a massage therapist, acupuncture, and chiropractor on-site make it easy to prioritize health and well-being. AND $1800/yr reimbursement for such this as ski pass, golf membership, personal trainer, home exercise equipment, classes, aquatics, etc. Free Tuition Program: The free tuition program for college degrees, both undergrad and beyond, is a game-changer. It demonstrates the company's commitment to employee development and personal growth. Culture Focus: The intentional focus on culture at all levels is remarkable. It's evident that the company values its employees and works hard to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment. Hybrid Flexibility: The hybrid work model with three core office days and two virtual days provides employees with flexibility, making work-life balance much more manageable. Valued and Heard: One of the most significant strengths is that every employee feels valued. Opinions genuinely matter here, and feedback is actively encouraged, creating an environment of open dialogue and continuous improvement.

Cons

To enhance the employee experience: Slow Return to Office: Since the pandemic, some associates have been slow to return to the office. This has resulted in a reduction in the camaraderie and social engagement that larger numbers used to bring. Less Team Spirit Activities: The decrease in team spirit activities is noticeable. These activities used to bring us all together, fostering a stronger sense of unity and collaboration.

Pros

Good pay, nice people to work with but as a consultant I feel a bit on the "outside".

Cons

Every single person that is an Executive Vice President is a man with the only woman being the CEO's Executive Assistant. Clearly you can see there is a distinct "known" here at this company.

We recognize that diversity has historically been an issue in our industry. However, if you look at our corporate board, we're actively working to diversify and will continue to make sure we consider all aspects. We will always focus on adding the most qualified talent to all of our roles across the entire organization. If you would like to connect further regarding this, I would welcome the opportunity to talk. - Michael Veilleux, Chief People Officer
