This company is a baby in its infancy and is about to hit its growth spurt, comprised of the most qualified engineers, auditors, and those alike. It is a self manage job with the feeling of having a presence and say in the company
Cons
As always in any job, playing favoritism happens. When you’re under review, your lead technician is your immediate supervisor who has a certain amount of responsibilities. There was friction between my lead and myself with him not allowing me to ride alongside in ‘our’ van to work sites, being against company policy. The lack of coordination this particular employee felt toward me purposely would not coordinate and reconfirm our schedules as again he did not see it as his job, albeit it under the description of his title.
I do wish the company would not take information as de facto and would have reached out to me or better yet our operations manager, to be able to squander the unnecessary quibble that ultimately led to me being released based off him reporting me ‘late” to job sites hours away when there should be an open line of communication
