Good experience if you are interested in the field of optometry or in learning about how glasses are made and ordered. You get insight into the daily experiences of an optometrist, and you get to talk and sell glasses to a wide variety of people.
Cons
Unhappy customers can get very upset at you for problems with their glasses, even if it was a lab error and not your fault. The associates you work with can be a mixed bag, and the pressure to make sales goals can get high, especially around the summer and holidays.
