Pros

Easy to get to as far as main highways for commute. Nice building with room to take a break or lunch with fridge, microwave etc...

Cons

Too much office politics. Not alot of support from corporate as far workload and need for extra help. Alot of behind the scenes rearranging because of this from local office to make things work without corporate knowledge. Makes it uncomfortable to know that corporate is not aware of what is being done.

Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

The owners of the company are "sales" guys not real management so they manage by threat and by numbers. They will bring people on board with a promise of a great future and when things don't work out profit wise during their timeframe they let people go regardless of when they started. The company is trying to work in the big league telecom market, however, they are only alarm cable guys, this you can verify from their profiles on NNSI's website, and because of this, they have no clue on the complexities of the telecom world or their timeframes. I have witnessed the owners insult their clients and I have also witnessed their engineers insulting clients as well with no repercussion from management. The atmosphere within the group is cut throat and they do not work as a team. Their senior engineer goes off on a tangent if a customer makes a request or an change and this is detrimental to the team because the tantrum lasts all day having a effect on everyone. Work is not distributed fairly and equally and to make matters worse, they will give you an offer letter hiring you on as an hourly employee and 5 months later after you have started working with them, they will give you another offer letter stating that you will now be paid by the unit (piece work) instead of hourly and that if you do not sign the new offer letter within 30 days they will consider that your resignation. I have heard them tell their customer that they needed to submit a change order to them in order to make corrections to engineering drawings that NNSI did incorrectly because the drawings were no longer under warranty even though the drawings were only 6 months old (Really?) This company is not professional, is only in it for the short term monetary gain, although they tell you going in how they want to grow the business and they do not care what they do to individuals or their careers. My advice to anyone considering working for NNSI, either as an installer or an engineer is to steer clear of this company and keep looking for a better opportunity, don't ruin your career or your reputation.
