Pros

Unfortunately there are no Pros for this company. Some agents were really nice and helpful.

Cons

Terrible, absolutely terrible. The worst managers, Terrible pay and those overtime hours that has never been paid. All the managers are cheap with minimum airline knowledge. I was working with an Airline which was based in Europe which had daily flights and our manager wouldnt even know what Schengen means. He didnt even knew our check-in system. Useless management. He was playing the extensions role in this company.

Pros

There are NO pros to working for this company. If you want to work in the airline industry, go to one of their competitors. Do not work for NavStar.

Cons

It is hard to list all of the cons in one short paragraph. To name a few, you are not treated nicely by managers, your schedule is always changing, the hourly pay in no way aligns with everything you have to put up with, and it is by far the most disorganized company you'll ever work for. Overall, it comes down to the unqualified and unprofessional management. The managers don't care about you and they certainly don't care about improving the work environment. I have been with the company almost a year now and nothing has changed.

Pros

It is very difficult to find the pro's of working for this company but I can truthfully say the experience and the knowledge you gain from working this position was pretty amazing. It will prepare you for other airlines that will treat you like a human being with better pay.

Cons

Nothing was rewarding from this position, it was legitimate slave as you run an entire flight with such limited staff of around 8-10 people in total operating two highly respected airlines (Air France-KLM). This is an extremely disorganized company that does not know how to treat their own employees or passengers with true care, I truthfully feel terrible that Air-France-KLM is contracted with such a cheap company like Navstar as I can really say they lost a lot of passengers respect as every flight was an absolute disaster. The main cause of this horrific position is the management, our training was a total of 2 weeks and every person hired was a noobie, no one whatsoever had any experience in the whole aviation industry so they threw us all on the floor. Even though this was a part-time position you worked full-time hours, the hours you worked and the amount of money you received bi-weekly did not add up whatsoever, and when you would bring up the problem to management they would simply state, "we'll add it to your next pay" HUNDREDS of dollars missing from my bank account as they do not know how to do one simple task for our hard work. A couple months into the job summer came around which is one of the busiest times of the years operating 2 flights in a day, breaks do not exist in this company, you were constantly on your feet from the minute you started until the end of your shift. You could literally see the stress in everyone's workings faces, and everyone working were beginning to lose crazy amounts of weight. There was not one person who had not lost at least 5-10 pounds from the job and it also came to the point where people stopped caring about their position and treated passengers like absolute garbage when they are simply expecting a smile and some professional good service. Another thing about this position is getting shifts traded...impossible. Literally impossible, you can forget about your life, your family, your children, birthdays, weddings because they do not have any sympathy whatsoever. You try your best months in advance to get a shift taken but it is such a difficult thing to do as we were so low in staff and everybody was always working and nobody wanted to take a shift if they only have 1-2 days off in a week. There are a million things I can write about this company but I do not have time to write a novel on my experience with Navstar and working for Air-France-KLM. Months of my life has been taken because of this job and it was not work it at the end, I could of easily applied to any Mcdonald's, Wendy's, or Tim Hortons and still would have been saving hundreds working there.
