Pros
On the IC level the people are amazing. Everyone is very friendly and helpful to each other. The product is really cool and there are no competitors on the travel side like it.
Cons
When looking at other reviews the 5 stars are clearly forced reviews if you go ahead and see that every single one is about enablement and onboarding. If you are currently interviewing and hearing about how great the comp plan is, I recommend reaching out to previous reps who are no longer at TA to hear the truth about the comp plan before trusting a manager. Do not take a cut to your base salary in trust that you will get a big commission check. The AE role is truly a hybrid of CSM, SDR, AE so make sure you know what you are signing up for. If a customer is unhappy with the product because of something outside of your control such as a bug therefore they don't use the tool you will not be paid on that closed deal, REMEMBER THAT WHEN ACCEPTING THE JOB. The culture is truly terrible, as adults we were treated like children. They will tell you it is a hybrid environment although you do not have the ability to choose your days & they will sprinkle in random days for different reasons. Additionally, in the NY office you are expected to show up early on Tuesdays to start making dials. At the end of the week, you will be publicly shamed if you do not self source a meeting by the director. There is absolutely no transparency or visibility, they will tell you that we are doing well as a company then quietly lay off/push out people.
