STAY AWAY! This company has no loyalty to their employees! - Systems Engineer Naviga Employee Review

Pros

There were some talented and hard working co-workers, but from my understanding most of those people have since been downsized to be replaced with CHEAP graduates fresh out of school.

Cons

This company has no interest in keeping employees that have experience and/or longer service, because they cost too much. They are not operating with any foresight, and seem to be concentrating on trimming the expenses to the bare minimum. The company was owned by a venture capitalist group and they were grooming it for resale, so I suspect they have less interest on ensuring it actually is viable for the long term. An example of the way they are operating - they hired on a group of graduates with no experience and then had long term employees train them on the software etc. After these people were trained they did a big layoff of the long term people. For those they didn't layoff, they told them they had to relocate or they would lose their jobs. That condition caused another group of employees to lose their positions. If you don't need your income this may be a company that you could gain some experience from, but if you do need a paycheck the stress of working here and worrying about having your job day to day is just NOT worth it! Note: the pay scale and benefits aren't great either.

Pros

Work-life balance, good career growth, and open to new ideas.

Cons

You may have to attend the meeting at odd hours that day, but that event isn't every day.

Pros

I worked with smart people who care about their job, our customers and each other.

Cons

Poor c-suite forecasting of sales, profits and EBITDA resulted in layoffs about every 2 years. Company is profitable, but not enough for the parent company, so already thin staffs get cut.
