Pros
Opportunity to gain exposure to multiple industries and accounts
Cons
In my experience, Nelson Connects is struggling due to ineffective leadership and a lack of ethical consistency at the executive and divisional levels. Decision-making often feels reactive rather than strategic, which has contributed to declining morale and operational instability.
There is a noticeable disconnect between what leadership communicates and how the business is actually run. Expectations frequently change without transparency, and accountability is unevenly applied. I personally observed practices that felt misaligned with ethical, people-first values, particularly in how employees are managed, how performance is measured, and how internal challenges are handled.
Rather than addressing systemic issues, leadership tends to deflect responsibility downward. This creates a culture of fear rather than trust, and high performers are often burned out or pushed out instead of supported. The result is high turnover, loss of institutional knowledge, and strained client relationships.
