Pros
Good discount, beautiful store, some lovely girls I directly work with and that's about it.
Cons
- Overworked and underpaid - Neptune come across as a very caring company, which is far from true. - sometimes have to work 7+ days in a row, which is exhausting and no thanks at the end of it. - I worked through an entire pandemic, having to come into store and go to customers homes (which i was far from comfortable with) but Neptune did not care I was forced to attend anyway. - Useless store leaders, no wonder the staff turnover is so high - little to no training, but expected and pressured to bring in a certain figure each financial year. - useless HR department, I have had literal breakdowns on the phone to HR but they never contacted me back to check i was ok. - Asking for holiday is like getting blood out of a stone, I am always feeling guilty to even ask, even though it is our right. - I am often covering the shop floor and treated like a shop assistant. (home specialist) which is fine now and again but with so much work to do and money to bring in, I simply don't have the time. - 0 commission or any bonus if the store doesn't hit a target. Our target was so high (during covid) so at Christmas some stores got a lovely bonus but we got nothing, not even a candle. With a company that is very successful after an incredibly hard year for their store staff, we got nothing, not even a thank you. - No store cleaners - expected to clean toilets, floors etc everyday.
