Pros
Had a good remote policy but I think remote workers are all being made redundant now Nice sector (education) You'll learn a lot, and that comes with the positive that you'll probably get a promotion if you're good at what you do and prove yourself. If you work hard you will be celebrated for your success but that does breed an overworking/burn out culture. Some of the people are quite nice
Cons
Company is clearly going through a tough time... Above promotions aren't always considered long-term by the business and redundancies quickly follow promotions, like thoughtful, sustainable decisions aren't being made. Being made redundant alongside multiple (!!) other women about to go on / also on their maternity leave in 2024 had to be the biggest and final red flag for me. A lot of the people high up have never had another job and it shows. Their lack of experience breeds disorganisation and inappropriate behaviour.
