It's been a displeasure to work for this company. Unfortunately there is a lack of direction, lack of advancement opportunities, no flexibility, and in general, small-minded pettiness.
Management seems childish and inexperienced. They are vague and direction-less, and unfortunately, they just don't act professional.
It seems like family gets raises, and you don't.
You are expected to work, work, work. In itself that isn't bad, but it feels like you are expected to give your soul to the company. Couple it with the lack of flexibility, very little vacation, and inefficiencies, it makes for an unpleasant working environment.
The organization is not a member of any certified payroll association. Which means that employees can't continue their payroll education and the organization doesn't have access to resources on payroll laws.
Security cameras everywhere-They seem overly concerned with security--in an office environment, there is very little need for security cameras, if you trust your employees.
Lack of Efficiency - Their processes are so manual, that they handwrite and highlight stuff, and use reams and reams of paper in the process.
They complain about finding "good" employees, but they don't offer benefits to attract those employees. They are cheap on everything, and you get what you pay for.
Advancement Opportunities-There is no place you can move or advance within the company. Once you are hired for a position, you stay there, for eternity.
Shopping at Meijers is frowned upon- Apparently, they messed up their driveway when building Meijer's, and they aren't happy about it. Then, they have the nerve to complain about where people park, when there's plenty of parking.
