Pros
The legal team was relatively close knit.
Cons
The legal team was close knit, meaning if drama happened with one person it likely went down with everyone. There was constant fire between the collectors and the legal team, with the collectors coming off as the poor abused workers who worked so hard for no pay, yet they constantly were allowed to leave early, show up whenever they wanted, and there were always morale boosting games and competitions going on. On top of that, the collectors received commission on top of their base pay, which was higher than most of the legal team. Salaried workers were taken advantage of since they were expected to work more than 40 hours, including late nights (past 7pm) and weekends, but if they left early on any given day that time was docked from the pay sheet as a day not worked and PTO was not accrued for that entire pay period of two weeks. We were not even allowed the title of "Legal Secretary" since then management knew they would likely need to pay us more.
