Pros

I liked being able to help patients.

Cons

Difficult to see them systematically decline or encourage clinic coordinators to not help Medicaid patients because they don't make as much as through private insurers. Gross.

This review is FAKE. It is fake because we only have ONE Clinic Coordinator in our Seattle clinic who has been there for the last 2 years and loves her job (the reviewer claims to be the Clinic Coordinator). Our REAL Clinic Coordinator has written volumes about how generous our company is and how we never turn anyone away for services. We have always accepted 100% of all Medicaid patients without discrimination. In fact, we routinely provide over $100,000 in FREE medical treatments to patients every month, with over $3M in FREE services provided since 2018; so, when we get Medicaid patients (who do pay) we are delighted to accept them with no strings attached. We just won a prestigious award from National Alliance on Mental Illness ("NAMI") as "Washington State's Provider of the Year" for Mental Health, partially because of all of the Pro Bono services we provide every day in our clinics. - The headline of this review "Money Motivated and Unethical" is the exact opposite of who/what we are. If you look at all of our other Glassdoor and Indeed Reviews, our employees rave about our generosity and commitment to taking care of patients. We have over 300 5-Star Google reviews from patients, and with 12 clinics serving Washington our lowest rating in any clinic is a 4.9/5.0. Here is a recent patient testimonial that just came through the same week this review was posted from a patient who was denied service from Medicaid, but we still offered 7 weeks of TMS treatment to him at NO CHARGE: - "Today is my last day of treatment with you all. I am both sad and excited to leave - sad because of the world-class care you provided, but excited because I am hopeful for a more stable future. I want to give kudos to the entire time I worked with. My techs were phenomenal listening to my sometimes "picky" positioning requests. They were wonderful conversationalists when I wanted to talk, but also knew when to give me space for silence. The clinic coordinator was amazing in her patience of receiving several of my calls when I needed to reschedule an appointment for a different time or a different day. The provider was extremely helpful in answering my more involved questions regarding TMS, helped me understand my genetic medication metabolism results, and gave me good recommendations for supplements. To NeuroStim's owners: while I have not met you, it is my understanding that one or both of you (as well as the rest of the clinical team) may have been involved behind-the-scenes in the decision to allow me to have this entire treatment course pro bono when my insurance denied coverage. For this stunning decision and everyone I mentioned above, I am forever grateful and I believe my life has been forever changed because of it and you all! Of note, a few month ago (pre-Christmas), if I were to use my own metric scale in which 0% is no longer alive and 100% is feeling fully myself, stable and content, I would have said I was at 5% at best, but now I'm around 90%. My 40th birthday is coming up soon and as I look back on my life, it has been a dark struggle for more than 20 years - since high school. I see this year as a turning point, or breakthrough, for me where I can finally progress from just surviving to living! I am extremely fortunate to have had you all in my life for this brief time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart." - NeuroStim Patient

Pros

Great training and wonderful management and staff. Everyone I met and worked with was helpful and encouraging and competent. Numerous patients commented “wow they really hire well here.” I agree. Even when I visited different clinic locations, everyone was welcoming and only wanted my success. The research they are doing to advance TMS is also incredible as it will lead to helping more people, more quickly, and less expensively. I am very impressed with how well the company is run and the commitment they have to deliver first class care to patients every day. Staff members and patients truly love being here!

Cons

Nothing significant here. NeuroStim is expanding nationally so we don't see senior leadership visit our clinics as much, but they are still engaged with calls and in-person meetings when needed.
