Pros

The pay was great and they make you believe that you are going to be working in a positive environment. The offices at the north Buffalo location are nice and that’s about all

Cons

The management team is a joke. They will make remarks about you They will watch you struggle and then ask why you leave 8 hours after starting The senior management team is a joke and should be held to a higher standard. Also the insurance here is trash if you work for any location you are going to end up disliking it The vice president doesn’t know how to communicate effectively The clinical director is a joke as a leader The senior staff will stand and watch you sink then offer no help other than “ try to work harder”

Pros

The work itself was meaningful and impactful. Serving the homeless population and being part of efforts to improve lives was deeply rewarding. The mission gave purpose to the job, and the people we served made the challenges worthwhile.

Cons

Employees’ voices often go unheard, and there’s little to no clear direction despite high expectations. The tools and resources provided don’t match the demands of the job. Leadership can come across as dismissive or even rude. While board members benefit financially, the needs and well-being of frontline employees feel overlooked. For a company rooted in mental health, there’s a noticeable lack of care for staff’s mental health, work-life balance, and recognition.
