Very, very misleading job description before you’re hired and even in the Zoom call interviews. There are 3-5 different employment opportunities in this company, yet every one of them do the exact same thing, not counting higher level management. There is no “marketing” or “management” aspect to this job. You are standing inside a store (Sam’s Club, Costco, Target) cold-approaching people that are shopping for groceries, asking them to switch their wireless carrier and buy new phones. That’s the business.
Poor work life balance
Minimum wage ($10/hr) if not exceeded by commission
Very up and down job, can get extremely boring and stale
Standing up every second of the shift
Sometimes 9 hours shifts
Multi level marketing , closest thing to pyramid scheme you can find, no matter what they tell you. Even as a “business owner” in this business, you will never have the full rights to your business and people above you can pull the plug and relocate you across the country if they so wish. Not a business I want to own. The employers prey on naive, young people and students who have just graduated HS or college and think this is a golden opportunity that they make it out to be, when you are just making the people above you richer.
