You get a take home unit, you meet some great people, you can see some incredible places.

You work with a lot of people who misuse their authority and the department sweeps it under the rug, a lot of guys/girls have alcohol issues and it gets swept under the rug, if you speak up on issues you’ll be black listed and find it extremely hard to ever transfer or promote.
