Pros
Beautiful environment, great coworkers, and good lower management. I liked having variety in my work everyday. Overall it is/was a relaxed work environment. I enjoyed my time with Newfields, but the cons far outweighed the pros.
Cons
Very high turn-over. Constant revolving door with new hires and experienced staff leaving. Questionable hiring screening - several problematic new hires Constant policy and role expectation changes, often with disregard for employee safety or expressed concern. Many oversights to general problems that should have been fixed years ago. On-the-job training varied in quality dependent on the employee training. Employees barely out of training were expected to train newcomers. Work life balance is awful. You should expect to work every holiday and most - if not all - weekends. PTO is "unlimited," if they'll let you use it at all. Changing shifts and gaining promotions are implausible at best. Employee appreciation rarely involved security staff, except for Harvest and Winterlights, which consisted of small snacks and the occasional catering.
