Pros
The pay is solid. They may give you opportunities to take IFMA courses.
Cons
The teams operate much too lean. We work hours that are not comparable to anywhere else I’ve ever worked. 16 hour days are frequent. You will often hear about people being online at 2AM and then staying on for the rest of the day to catch up on work. We can’t keep up. Management won’t help, nor will they provide advice other than “this is your job, you have to compete the work.” And we can’t retain any talent because of it. They’ll also dangle the carrot of career opportunities and potential promotions, but they simply can’t follow through because they literally can’t backfill you - nobody wants to stay here. People have quit in under a month. Management doesn’t know how to use our systems and they do not understand how their processes (and red tape) impact our ability to meet their deadlines. Management should get more hands on and take on some of the grunt work but they won’t. Most of them are offline on MS Teams at a normal time.
