NewsGuard provides an excellent opportunity for enterprising journalists looking to get experience with esteemed editors. If you take the initiative, there are many opportunities to conduct research onto emerging misinformation trends and get creative. The editors are excellent and will push you to be better.

Most of the work is not public facing, which can be a drawback for many looking to go into journalism. Most people also work remotely so it's hard to foster a sense of community. You also will struggle here if you need a lot of direction.
