Pros
I've been with Nexosis for over a year now and previously worked in both the corporate world and with a small company. I can honestly say that I genuinely enjoy everyone who works here. We value autonomy, but we are cross functional and are always helping each other out. I work with many brilliant minds and I'm constantly learning from them. We are building a new and exciting technology and we aren't perfect. Leadership allows us to make decisions, test things out, and if we fail, we can remedy the situation quickly. We are all treated like owners and we all want to succeed. Unlike some other startups, we don't play ping pong for 5 hours and stay at the office for 16. There are awesome benefits, weekly lunches, beer on tap, company retreats and lots of daily laughter.
Cons
Because this is the first tech startup I've worked, I had challenges when I first started with all of the changes. But now, I've embraced the changes. No day is ever the same, we are moving quickly, and we all wear multiple hats.
