Pros

the pay is decent, the colleges are nice

Cons

Leadership Approach: It seems the current management style is predominantly based on instilling fear. This can inadvertently stifle creativity and initiative, affecting the overall performance and morale of the team. Public Handling of Mistakes: I've noticed instances during meetings where engineers are criticized publicly by their direct managers. This can be quite demotivating and counterproductive. Team Engagement during Meetings: ALL team members have their cameras turned off during meetings, which often leaves speakers unsure if they have the full attention of their colleagues. Content of One-on-Ones: The focus during one-on-one meetings tends to be exclusively on work. Task Overload and Management Criticism: We're constantly swamped with an unreasonable number of simultaneous tasks, which disrupts focus and undermines productivity. To add insult to injury, managers don't hesitate to criticize us when we fail to juggle all these tasks effectively, while paradoxically piling on more work. Instead of safeguarding our time to let us concentrate on high-priority goals, it feels as though we're being set up for failure. Feedback Mechanism: The current system allows for sharing of feedback only during the biannual reviews. Implementing a more frequent and open feedback mechanism can enhance communication and allow for quicker resolution of issues and continuous improvement. The problem appears to be rooted in the leadership. the CEO seems to operate under the impression that everyone should be unconditionally deferential towards him. This top-down issue is negatively affecting the organization's culture. Health Insurance and 401k Matching Concerns: The current health insurance cost is exorbitantly high and is becoming a financial burden. Additionally, the lack of 401k matching is a significant drawback that doesn't align with industry norms and greatly affects your long-term financial security.

Pros

The office gets free lunch. Coworkers (apart from management and executives) are all a pleasure to work with.

Cons

-very toxic work environment. constant changes to the company, clients are sold on lies. -very high turnover rate, I can’t tell you how many people have come and go in my time here at the company. -leadership lacks accountability for their mistakes, they’d rather play the blame game -there is no support for employees who work directly with clients, you are thrown under the bus and get reprimanded if you try to speak up for yourself -if you speak up when things are wrong, you get a target put on your back. -the CEO has a bunch of yes men afraid to speak up to him when bad decisions are made -no effort to actually grow your career here is made on the company’s end
