      Pros

      Non Invasive Monitoring Systems (NIMS) is a start up medical device company. The company holds several patents on its novel technology. Both science and professional opinion leaders support the therapy. A large portfolio of scientific papers supporting its efficacy.

      Cons

      This new technology hasn't been widely accepted in the medical community. Institutions wanting to utilize the therapeutic device are currently using reimbursement codes that are non-specific, thus the reimbursements are low.

      Pros

      funded by NIMS, spent a month there. The devices there are world-class, however the way they do research is quite different from the one in US.

      Cons

      communication is a problem, not everyone speaks english well. if you expect any trips to tokyo, it is a hour train.
