Pros

A good entry level job to get experience in the food industry. Friendly, hard working co-workers. Experiencing a different work culture and potential for growth with company but slow. Get experience and get out.

Cons

Honestly, if I could give zero stars I would. I read other reviews about this company before I got hired, didn't think it would be that bad but it is. Take my advise and stay away. I'm not making it up, Management is unorganized, stubborn, does not listen to it's employees. Managers will come from Japan, who are unknowlegdeable and try to "improve" work flow but actually hinder production also make it impossible for national staff to move up. Managers even the CEO will disrespect and make fun of employees based on physical appearance. Equipment often breaks and is never fixed thus having to perform long tedious task. Pay is low, not to mention unpaid overtime and horrible business ethics.

Pros

Continuously improving benefits (401k matching, visit to Japanese headquarters after 5 years) Continuously improving sales (new Marketing department, sales incentives) Continuously improving equipment (New IT department, sales activity management) Flexible transfers (If a position doesn't suit you and there is an opening, you can be transferred to a different department) Continuously improving production (expansion plant is planned, new sales offices opening seemingly yearly)

Cons

Misunderstandings due to language barrier still existent Anecdotally average salaried employees work 45+ hours a week management works 50+ Could be more flexible in general
