Pros
The benefits:"Meh".... The promotions: not much room for advancement.... The pay: below average. The hospital values are worthy morals. Patient safety and satisfaction were a top priority. Great camaraderie between the hard working nurses and aides. Small community hospital made it feel like a family and made great personal connections with other employees. Great education department who are really passionate and there to help.
Cons
The Great disconnect btwn administration and front-line aides & nurses is terrible. Some aides/tech/nurses deserved to fired on the spot- but the laid backed attitude from management did nothing about it. The union protected dead weight and didn't protect or represent the nurses as they should have. Union dues are virtually paid for nothing.
