Pros
A good starting point for your career as Noldus is well-known in the scientific community. Everyone in the office gets along pretty well and you do have the freedom after a year or so to work remotely.
Cons
Terrible leadership. Employees are not treated equally with the same opportunities as others. Women are disrespected and not taken seriously. There is no real evaluation or career path to success. The interview process is ridiculous. It could be a well-qualified individual with a background in neuroscience and they are expected to present a Noldus product they never used. They are then bullied with questions about things only an experienced Noldus employee would know. The "training" requires you to have knowledge of all products and applications, which is done alone. These are not simple products as you are expected to learn every single detail from software to hardware, even though you will never go through the entire application with a customer. No one on the leadership team can teach you anything about sales, besides what they try to force everyone to read: “To Sell is Human.” They have gone through several leadership seminars during working hours, yet no improvements have been made. Internal procedures are never consistent, as they push for random, nonsensical updates to their CRM, which no one asks for. Most employees stay for about a year or 2 and then leave because there are no incentives to retain employees.
I am writing this review as a warning to others to know what to expect if you decide to apply here. I came in with false promises and found a better career path.
