Great woman-owned company - Product Coordinator Nora Gardner Employee Review

Learned so much about all aspects of production, wholesale, sales, design, sourcing, etc. It is a great place to work and I made lifelong friends and connections when I was there. It's been a few years since, but I still speak with Nora and members of the team and help her out when I am able.

You have to be willing to wear a lot of hats. It's both a pro and a con. Pro because you learn a lot about every aspect, con because you get burnt out very quickly.

You get a pay check every two weeks

The owner truly needs therapy. She has driven multiple contractors and vendors away. She promises them business that she cannot provide. She begs her contractors for lower prices which is often insulting and undermines their business . She doesn’t like to own up to her own mistakes, she often blames things on other people. I’ve walked in to the office numerous times to find her crying about personal problems. She likes to dump her personal problems on her employees. She will also ask you to work after hours. This makes for an horrible work/life balance. All of the good reviews on this page are due to her asking employees to leave a good one. I’d strongly advise you to find another place of employment.
