Pros

I came to North from a large fortune 500 company frustrated that promotions seemed to be years and years away. I found North randomly and I love how the work I put in is the only thing that determines when I will get promoted. Rebby, the CEO has always been transparent and has helped me in both my personal life and professional. I feel like I have become a better person and I have learned so much about myself since I started working at North including how to set big goals and envision what my life can look like. As a former student athlete it has been the perfect place to channel the energy I used to love getting results from the work i put in.

Cons

I don't have a lot of cons, I think when you work in a merit based environment it can be hard because when you're not getting the results you want you have to look inward to see what you need to do differently. It was something I struggled with but being at North I've been able to identify areas of improvement and taking action has been a big help!

Pros

Meet new people I guess

Cons

Really really unethical what they’re doing here. “Sales account manager” means door to door sales where 90% of the people you encounter want you to leave. NO ONE mentioned a single word about that in the interview process. You will work Saturdays and there will be days when you don’t make any money, literally zero. You work 10-7 with a 30 minute lunch break, and then you’re expected to hop on another zoom call at 7:35. It’s also kind of like a cult, where they are all perpetuating these ideas about LOAs(law of averages) which is a gambler’s fallacy that’s supposed to make you feel okay with getting rejected all day. You’re selling AT&T products that people don’t need you to knock on their door for. There’s also a promise for “leadership development” which is quite hilarious. This means that you can eventually have people under you knocking on doors so you earn part of their commission.

Reviewer, We’re concerned that much of the information in this review is inaccurate and misleading. First, the claim that leaders earn a portion of new team members’ commissions is false. Our leaders do not take money from new employees’ sales. This does not happen and is completely inaccurate. Additionally, the average rep on payroll in our office this week earned $2,358.45. The lowest payment made was $1,103, and the highest was $7,438.75, for just one week of work, which contradicts the suggestion that earnings are “literally zero.” Transparency about our roles and expectations is a priority for us, and our interview process clearly communicates the responsibilities of the position. We go over in clear detail during two different stages of the interview process, using a PowerPoint to go over the exact responsibilities of the role. While we understand that direct sales isn’t the right fit for everyone, we take false claims about our practices and compensation seriously and hope that future candidates will review accurate information about the role. Best, Management
