Pros

Pay is competitive. Patient centered, compassionate healthcare. Directors and above are often robotic, corporate, dull husks of humans.

Cons

Administration will make major changes to management systems, user systems, policies, pay, etc. then roll it out with minimal training and tons of tech bugs, then blame their team for short comings despite incredible effort to piece together how to get things done. Truly challenging to accomplish anything beyond survival.

Pros

Care associates are allowed to do what CNAs do, but they do not have to have the certification. Entry level pay is the same and there are equal raises between roles each year. Part time status an average of 24 hr/week, you can work more than that and you receive full benefits, two forms of bonus every year, immediate PTO (80hrs/year). 12 or 8 hour shifts available, make your own schedule

Cons

sometimes short staffed unit, so work becomes fast-paced - if you like being active and constantly moving, this job is fun.
