Pros

The regular working people are knowledgeable and kind.

Cons

The President of the company said directly to my face when I was asking for a reasonable accommodation that my disability didn’t exist because I wasn’t in a wheelchair. She doubled-down on that statement to BOLI.

Pros

Fun and engaging environment. I witnessed highly colloborative teams where everyone top to bottom was invested in the success of internal and external clients and seemed to genuinely care about their co-workers.

Cons

If there is one, it's that I wish my engagement was longer.

Pros

It’s a genuinely innovative product. Most people there are good to work with.

Cons

There is an aggressive leadership style that creates an extremely stressful work environment. I only worked at Nulia for a short time before I knew it wouldn’t work out. I’ve never worked before or since in a tech company where staff were screamed at publicly for mistakes. The company continuously hires professionals in their field and then refuses to listen to their guidance. Then when releases go poorly, those same people are blamed. It creates an awful cycle of anxiety where staff feel helpless to fix any of the problems with the software because they have no control. The management oversees every decision no matter how small, despite not having any background in those fields. This creates a bottleneck that slows progress to a trickle. Small issues can sometimes take months to address. I would like Nulia to succeed as a company, a lot of great people work there. But as is I don’t think it’s possible.
