Pros

There's some really talented and nice people that work here.

Cons

There is frequent inconsistency in ideas and direction from the senior leadership team (SLT), creating a highly toxic environment with unrealistic expectations. Product Design is treated as a service rather than a valued discipline, viewed primarily as a tool for growth. The focus on dark-patterned experiments highlights this mindset. The VP of Product lacks clear vision, influence, or the ability to drive meaningful change. This has resulted in widespread exhaustion and stress across all departments. It’s no surprise that competitors are pulling ahead, as we’re often working toward arbitrary or unattainable goals. Additionally, the objectives we’re trying to address frequently shift without warning, further hindering progress.

Pros

A small number of exceptionally talented and thoughtful colleagues. Unfortunately, many of the people I most respected left or were made redundant during the summer 2026 restructuring.

Cons

In my experience, leadership struggled to turn highly favourable conditions in the weight-management market into a coherent and sustainable strategy. Priorities shifted constantly, specialist expertise was frequently disregarded, and capable employees were abruptly made redundant through a process that felt poorly explained and lacking in transparency. The culture also lacked psychological safety. During a group forum, a senior contractor publicly questioned me about my individual wellbeing score and asked me to elaborate on why it wasn't to their liking. As someone with a disability, I found this exposing and inappropriate, particularly because the conversation took place in front of colleagues rather than privately. I was also repeatedly approached by the CEO for unexpected conversations in the office, which I experienced as very uncomfortable. Senior contractors were sometimes given significant influence before appearing to understand the organisation, its people or the work already underway. Loosely formed executive ideas were regularly treated as urgent strategy, creating churn and forcing teams to deliver against continually moving priorities. The restructuring removed substantial talent and institutional knowledge while, from my perspective, there was little visible accountability at leadership level for the decisions that had shaped the company’s position.

Pros

- Big ambitions, great mission, - Fantastic individual contributors - Access to great tooling - Claude, Notion, etc - Good perks: sal sacrifice pension/childcare, vitality, wellhub - Flexible working and central office. - Friendly teams, approachable colleagues, and willingness to support each other - Flat hierarchy and approachable c-suite, easy to share feedback and understand rationale behind decisions.

Cons

- Office could have better vibes and could be more stocked in terms of snacks + drinks. Would be nice to see lunch included too. - Lack of yearly company wide off-site which could be fantastic for culture building, team building, and strategy setting. - Like any scale up/fast-growth company an element of flexibility and working around ambitious targets + tight deadlines is needed. Works for most people but may put off some people. - Wellhub perk could be better. Advertised as gym access to 2000+ locations but in reality it's only access to an app with subscription needed on top.
