Poor management and little future - Software Engineer Numbrs Employee Review

Spaghetti codebase - be prepared for your productivity to fall off a cliff because the existing codebase is awful to work with. I found it incredibly depressing to work with. Management are delusional, no realistic vision of how they are ever going to make money and the default management position is to keep vital information to themselves, and blame the people doing the work when things go wrong. The majority of the people who did know what they were doing, were let go in the last financial crisis the company had, so there are very few people who know the systems well. The company has had numerous financial problems recently, and had to pay staff over a month late at one point. Although investors have put money in again, expect this to run out in the near future and your pay to be at risk because the company doesn't actually make any money.
