You are most likely going to end up taking the night shift when you begin, but you are able to change that when people move between departments internally.
Union job provides better worker protection, theoretically.
Cons
Leadership runs a nepotistic department. Many are moved to better roles and/or granted extra chances solely due to who they are friendly with.
There is no job progression. Transfers are very hard to get as they require prior experience doing things you would not do in your current role.
