Pros
I worked at Nuvotronics (for nearly 4 years) from the early days when we had less than 20 people. When I Ieft we had more than 90. My time was filled with technically challenging projects that no one else in the world was doing. The success were exciting to be a part of. I enjoyed the chance to learn new skills and techniques every day. It was hard work but the trill of our success far out weighed the challenges.
Cons
Growing pains were the biggest challenges. When we were small everyone talked about the problems and the solutions. When we were bigger the communication began to break down. The upper management at first was very open to listening to everyone. At the end of my time there they wouldn't even talk to me anymore. I wanted to advance in the company but I was stuck in a job description that only reflected who I was when I started not who I had become. The upper management never would give me a reason why I was not allowed to advance and the mid-level management either didn't know or were not allowed to tell me. I met every performance review's expectations but was still not given a chance to advance in the company.
