Don’t be deceived by the branding; the 'Buzz' culture is a total illusion. It takes time to see through it, but once you do, you realize the massive disconnect between the corporate vision and the actual school experience.
The regional managers, trainers and the rest of the “support staff”—the 'middle-men' between the home office and the schools—function as a non-value-add layer of mangement. They operate as glorified paper-pushers who prioritize arbitrary rule-making and capricious mandates over any tangible field support.
Whether the brand mission is a scam or just hindered by petty, small-minded bureaucracy, the result is the same: the schools are left to fend for themselves while being micromanaged by self-important desk jockeys who have no idea how to actually lead.
Many of us still hope that Andy and Danny would be mortified if they truly knew how things were being run in the field. We’d like to believe the owners stand by their word, but as it stands, their vision is being completely undermined by the toxic middle layer they’ve put in place. Don’t buy into the hype
