This company truly couldn't care less about their employees, severely underpays, expects you to work unpaid overtime and offers zero opportunities for career growth or development. They publicly pretended to support their communities during the pandemic while privately firing half their employees unexpectedly for tax breaks.
The Minneapolis office is full of C-suite executives and directors who shouldn’t be in their positions, only promoted because they’re related or old friends of and like to drink fireball. Incredibly incestuous and one of the most toxic work environments I've ever experienced. Poor communication from the Austin team and Ojo in general seem to have no clue what they’re doing when it comes to what the Minneapolis office is good for.
Their "support" of BLM and diversity and inclusion in general on their site is purely performative and disingenuous. Repeatedly heard the Chief of Sales misgender a transgender employee because he thought it was funny, no one on the C-suite team with him ever corrected him. There are maybe two non-white people at this company in Minneapolis.
If you do somehow get promoted, you will be expected to continue doing your previous role - no extra compensation will be given, no help will be given from management and you'll just continually be told it's just a little bit more time when you ask about fully moving into your new role. Spoiler Alert: you will never fully be moved into your new position.
High turnover rate prior to them firing everyone during the pandemic, but even the current situation isn’t stopping people from leaving. Save yourself the trouble and just find another company.
