Pros

A vibrant and passionate workforce that resembles the FAANG on the surface

Cons

However, beneath the facade, this is an organization that is run like it has never left China. Nepotism, cronyism and favoritism is rampant and the senior management team is one of the weakest I have ever encountered. Workload is high, pace is fast and the volatility of this place is exacerbated by a lack of foresight and planning by the senior leaders. It is essentially an empire with the words of 1 person being the heavenly mandate.

Pros

- Complimentary food and drinks in the office - Some co-workers are working hard and friendly - Hybrid work that can work 2 days from home

Cons

- The company experienced hiring followed by layoffs, which raised concerns about workforce planning. - No severance package, career transition assistance, or visa support was provided following the layoff, which negatively impacted the perception of the company's employee culture. - There was a tendency to assign blame rather than focus on collaborative problem-solving.
