Pros

Good training program for those new to recruiting. The team that oversees the Search Analyst program deserves far more credit and reward than they get. Fred is a fantastic manager who I genuinely believe wants to see people succeed. Ability to work from home is great. Opportunity to gain experience in various industries which is very helpful for those younger in their recruiting career.

Cons

Company went from 200+ employees to 50 in roughly 2 years. Layoffs happened almost every other month with little to no warning. Everyone was miserable and under constant stress they might lose their job in a blink, and leadership didn't do anything to help this other than repeating the same, tired "this is as hard for us as it is for you" line. Extremely callous and out of touch approach (and not surprising that your best employees have been dropping like flies and finding work elsewhere since). Some managers here were great, while others were completely defensive, manipulative, and never held accountable for their mistakes when they were addressed. I've never seen a more immature, patronizing manager than one I had here who repeatedly failed to provide us key updates and was caught saying different things to different people about the project we were on. This created stress, confusion, and anxiety amongst the team and nothing was done about it when brought to leadership. They love the idea of employees starting "new initiatives" to boost the efficiency of the company, draw in new business, or improve culture, but won't ever compensate you fairly (if at all) for the additional work. The company decides for you which client you're attached to, which means you can easily get stuck in positions that don't challenge you and effectively softlock you out of being promoted/earning a raise. Pay is laughably well below market rate. Benefits don't do much to make up for it.
