Pros
Kyle Grant- inspirational figure head with a empthatic approach for his staff (sometimes to his detriment) Ground level team- work hard and to the best of their abilities with little support from Senior support. Sustainability- The intial thought process of “fixing the broken industry” is admirable and ground breaking technology was exciting to be a part of.
Cons
Questionable senior management hires- unfortunately the ethos of the company has been squashed due to poor hirings directed from the most senior operations leadership, which themselves do not fit the same culture as the CEO and resulted in several redundancies due to poor decision making from them. Poor support mechanism- As the company has grown, the internal HR team has been controlled by individuals which dictate the culture change which creates large gaps in people support for the individuals who require this. The company initially were looking 5-10 years to the future, however with the individuals responsible for running the business now, the company doesn’t look forward and forecasting is very poor with no definitive direction. Work environment has become toxic due to the pressures of the business bought up due to the individuals mentioned above.
