Decent enough pay, most static sites only require a patrol hourly, control room is helpful and friendly.

Dangerous, most sites (if not all, I wouldn't know) are solo and far away from help if needed. No form of PPE provided, not even a panic alarm or radio. Most sites are not risked assessed. Management clearly don't care about employees. If someone breaks in, your only option is to run away or potentially get injured trying to deal with them.

Ability to manage own time. No issues with finishing at different times for family commitments. Paid training options available. Fully expensed company car and fuel.

Out of hours can be very demanding due to on call roster. Salary is average for industry only.
