You need to really suck up to the top management if you want to travel. To put things in perspective, I handled the US market but never traveled to the US. Ever since I have moved to a smaller company, I have traveled to the US 6 times in 2 years apart from other European and Middle Eastern countries doing proper marketing. 6.
