Pros
I only started working at Obelisk Support last month so it's quite new, but here's what I can say: - As social media & digital marketing manager, I have a lot of leeway which is great as I am free to structure my days and try new tools - When Obelisk Support advocates flexible working, they really walk the walk and talk the talk. I had to work remotely one day and emailed the CEO in the morning. She said sure and I worked remotely all day without issues. - Team is very multinational and open to different skills. It's very much a can-do attitude and initiative is welcome at every level. - Great internship program in the summer. It's fun to interact with law or economics students as they bring a fresh perspective on things. - Love that the company is also a strong advocate of women in law through The First Hundred Years project. Seriously cool that they're shining a light on forgotten voices of legal history. - Legal tech is very much a topic in everyday conversations and unlike some BigLaw/industry players that use legal tech or disruptive as buzzwords, Obelisk Support looks at solutions that are truly innovative (they created their own custom platform in-house). - Tuesday is team meeting with complimentary lunch. Other days, it's BYO lunch.
Cons
Not much really. No health benefits and pay isn't great. Team brainstorming during meetings can be all over the place but at least, all topics are open for discussion.
