Pros

There's not much. *You'll be working alone most of the time undisturbed if you stay on schedule *if you some how finish early you get to leave as soon as you return to yard. *sometimes you'll be spare and therefore get to sit around for 10 hours *most customers are understanding if you run late *If an incident happens while on route to save time they will offer you goods like wine etc to avoid paperwork. Thanks for the support "Wes" & "Craig".

Cons

So.. *No career progression *If you run behind you'll be expected to relinquish your break time on the road. *Good luck finding a restroom while on route.. one of my colleagues was in a situation where they had to go in the van.. pretty common apparently. *Vans will be rammed full and your time for drops would be 4 minutes and time between would be 2 minutes. *The routes are all decided by the staff that tell you to "do the best you can" but won't help you with any concerns or struggles you have. *They will happily send you out with 1 redelivery that will take you 6 hours to do in central London! That could have been out on a closer van. *When vans are running late to be filled they will pressure you to go out without checking the van. *The vans are a mess. If you complain about the mess or the fuel hasn't been properly filled by the previous driver, that's where your complaint will end. *No one cares. *Your training process is one day learning the 2 separate systems. Ocado and Morrison's. Then they you have 1 day of van training where you stay local and have no actual manoeuvres just "round the block" Day 3 you will be with someone you started with doing a reduced route. After that you will be thrown into full routes and may often run late. *Once running late you won't recover unless you break speed limits and drive like an idiot, you are expected to call every customer you deliver to before if you are going to arrive late. If you follow this procedure and the customer actually answers you. Your 4 minute delivery slot has taken you 10 minutes per late customer. *They preach customer service is key but expect you to be as quick as possible. As soon as your caught doing something not correct it wasn't their fault calling you to speed up. But your fault for not following procedures. *Ocado Merton and a few other sites I've assisted do not care for uniforms. managers will watch staff in hoodies, joggers and trainers instead of steel toe boots get in their vans. *All the managers care about is that your van leaves on time. Just a number to them.

Pros

The salary is decent and the hours are okay

Cons

The company is lacking in the organization as a whole. With a lot more cohesiveness it can be a great company to work for.
