Pros

-Other than a paycheck. None within the IT department. But the bank outside of this department seems like a nice place to work.

Cons

-Started everyday with negative cloud over your head. -CTO of the department has no idea what he is doing. Lacks management skills, micromanages his employees to the detriment of the department. -CTO doesn't listen to his employees. -Department needs a cultural overhaul and real operational structure. - Communication problems - You get blamed for things that were never your responsibility to begin with - CTO doesn't take responsibility for his own actions or lack thereof.

Pros

The orientation process at OceanFirst Bank was exceptionally well executed. It created a welcoming, non-intimidating environment where interns were introduced to the company’s culture and daily operations. Senior leaders—including the CEO, treasurer, and other top executives—took the time to speak about their roles and their contributions to fostering that culture. Interns were also given valuable opportunities to network and connect with one another. Overall, the experience was both engaging and highly enjoyable.
