In the beginning, management seemed genuinely interested in coach insights/feedback. That dwindled over time, as did the promised transparency.

We value our coaches so deeply, and respect the work they do every day to help Omada participants change their lives. Coach feedback continues to be a critical input into many things we do here, since our coaches are closest to our participants and know them best. I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't feel that near the end of your time with Omada, and I'll absolutely take your thoughts back to the team. It's important to me to make sure we're doing everything we can to ensure our coaches are heard.

Cons
Less of a con, more of a heads up to make sure your role is truly valued during the interview process. Try to gauge how much cross-functional buy-in is needed for you to have impact. As with most startups, layoffs happen and if you're struggling to get projects started because there's no internal support, your role is at risk.
