Pros
OnBoard has been pushing boundaries and expanding services, which is, of course, a testament to the company's growth and vision. The people I work with are all great. Intelligence and dedication is not lacking.
Cons
Now that the dust has settled from the JMI investment, the pressure on the existing workforce has reached unprecedented levels. The expectation to achieve more (and more, and more, and more) with the same resources is a constant presence. It never ends. It feels like we're running in a perpetual marathon, and burnout has continued to be a prevalent topic of discussion for the individual contributors at OnBoard. While the company touts its dedication to work-life balance, reality often paints a different picture. We're not robots, we're humans. Us individual contributors are being abused. Upper management is either not seeing it, or is turning a blind eye to it. Also, despite the relentless effort and dedication, the compensation packages haven't kept pace with the company's growth ambitions or the industry standards (even though they keep telling us that they're very competitive in the market).
