Thank you for taking the time to write your review. OnPoint seeks to provide a total compensation package that includes competitive base pay (our starting base salary was increased to $17 per hour), incentive opportunities, amazing benefits, PTO, volunteer time, paid holidays, and so much more. We thoughtfully crafted this package to provide for many of the needs of our diverse group of employees. We appreciate your continued commitment to delivering quality experiences to our members, especially during this time. We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your concerns and learn more about your experiences. We encourage you to reach out to a member of the HR team to discuss further.

Pros

Excellent HR internship with welcoming, knowledgeable mentors. The HR department and leadership were genuinely kind and set a strong example of how to support emerging professionals—encouraging growth, confidence, and curiosity rather than viewing inexperience as a weakness. Gained hands-on, real-world experience and insight into nonprofit and corporate environments, including using HRIS systems like Dayforce and pre-hire/onboarding tools such as Sterling.

Cons

Limited number of HR openings

Pros

Quick interview process - found out result within 1 week 10% differential pay if working in store at Fred Meyers or Safeway with OnPoint

Cons

At will employment - axe employees without an ounce of empathy, listening, or care Zero sick time (all combined with PTO) ZERO PTO or referrals paid out if let go before 90 days Must wait 4 years to accrue 20 days of PTO instead of 15 Cannot use any sick time or time off during first 90 days (can't get sick)
