      Pros

      The co-workers are a great group of people. The SoMa location is convenient. I love talking to people about solar power.

      Cons

      There is little upward mobility by skill or experience. It feels like management is moving the company in the direction of replacing a small but highly qualified sales team with many telemarketers to try to gain more sales. Lots of offers for sales contests but very hard to collect if you do win.

      Pros

      One Block Off the Grid is a young a growing company with a tremendous amount of potential within the residential solar energy market. Every employee is unique in their own way and bring some of the best talent to their specific job. The office is an open working environment, which makes it easy to connect with the executive board at any point and time. The potential is there for this company to grow exponentially within the next few years for this company.

      Cons

      As with any other start up company, the hours can be long, but the rewards of seeing the company grow and mature make it all worth it.
